12 Days of Thanksgiving : Anisere Abiola is thanking God for a successful NYSC year

Twtw called out for Thanksgiving posts from our sisters (click HERE if you missed it).

For the next 12 days, we would see through the eyes of imperfect ladies, striving to give perfect praise to the Lord.

“By Him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name”.

-Hebrews 13:15

His banner over me is love.

2016 has been an awesome year for me, the Lord has indeed proved Himself Faithful. 2015 seemed like the worse year for me, little did I know that my Father was preparing me for a beautiful year ahead (2016).

I was denied going for NYSC last year due to some technical departmental issue and I felt stagnant, but this year was the best year to serve. God has indeed been ever faithful.
He truly answers prayers, for every of my prayer requests this year, He granted answers and for the ones that I didn’t get answers to, He taught my heart not to be weary.  He makes all things beautiful and He knows what’s best for me,Yahweh is my Everlasting Father.
Throughout this year 2016, I never had any cause to take any medications, I didn’t even take paracetamol or even the least vitamin C, the Lord sustained my body. Although there were times I have been weak, I even had diarrhea (due to serving in a village). But all through, I held on to God’s Word that By His Stripes I’m healed, my body is the temple of God and sickness has no place there.
It looked strange to everyone when I humbly turn down drugs and said that i would be fine. Afterall it has been God that has sustained me over the years, i have grown in that aspect of trusting Him and this year wasn’t going to be an exception.
God has been faithful in my family, He saved my dad and siblings from an accident without a scratch. He provides for us and meets our every needs. I’ve not lacked anything this year. He kept telling me that He is my sustainer and He’ll meet ALL my needs,  so I don’t need any money doubler or quick way of making money.  He cares about me.
I can go on and on.
Beyond the physical, the Lord has been my strength, my fortress, my shield, my Lord, my Father, my King, my Lover…. He has just been EVERYTHING to me, He keeps leading me, guiding me, instructing my heart unto righteousness.
He never lets me fall, even when I wander, He draws me back to His presence.
The Lord is good, He is beautiful.
I thank Him for the school I’m teaching in for my NYSC, He provided me with all that I needed to serve Him in this NYSC year.
This year has been the best year ever in terms of my walk with God. I have loved and walked with the Lord deeper this year. All my past prayer requests are being answered in this year.
The Lord has just been so good. I really have a whole lot to thank him for: my friends, family, loved ones, Nccf Owo zone. All that concerns me has just been BLESSED.
