LESSONS FROM BOAZ……… Protect Her

Dear Beloved brother

I hope your day is Beginning well, may the wetness of the rainy season leave you refreshed and striding towards a better future. This is the second letter on, lessons from Boaz, feel free to dive in.

Boaz was intentional and willing to protect Ruth, how do I mean? See.
Ruth 2:8-9 (kjv)

“Then said Boaz to Ruth, hearest thou not my daughter, go not to glean in another field, neither go from hence, but abide here fast by my maidens. Let thine eyes be on the field that they go reap, and go thou after them: have I not charged the young men that they should not touch thee. And when you are athirst, go unto the vessels, and drink of that which the young men have drawn”

I love it more in the message version.

“Then Boaz spoke to Ruth, ‘listen my daughter, from now on don’t go to any other field to glean, -stay right here in this one. And stay close to my young women, watch where they are harvesting and follow them. And don’t worry about a thing, I have given orders to my servants not to harass you. When you get thirsty, feel free to go and drink from the water bucket the servants have filled.”

My brother, we see Boaz protecting Ruth.

You have that special inbuilt ability that makes you royal, so in case you have ever wondered at your tactfulness in knowing when danger looms, or ever probed to understand why you have this physical gorgeous frame and stature, or ever marveled at the power your authority wields, God intentionally gave you all these and more. He wants you to protect your sister in Christ.

Don’t always see us as sheep led to the slaughtered rather you are meant to protect us like the good shepherd.
Will this always come cheap? No! but you have what it takes.

It will require that you walk out on some men groups where they are constantly chatting away on how to hunt down female Christians

It will require that you speak to some ladies privately telling them the evil plans of the guys they are madly in love with.
It will require that you confront the wolf in sheep clothing, telling him to leave your sister in Christ alone.

It will require that you shun your selfish emotional cravings so you could be a brother in Christ and serve God’ s daughter. This is true manliness.
You have what it takes BB.

God gave you a thicker voice, attached muscles that spread across your well built frame, He topped these with the gift of His Spirit, allowing your mind to be continually renewed by His Word.

If Boaz can do it, you can do much more.
God expects you to protect your sisters. Your own sisters in Christ.

Yours sisterly,
Orowhe.‍
